As we move towards peak season, we are seeking driven and passionate people with exposure to hospitality looking for a short term opportunity to join our operational team on a fixed term basis over the festive period to support the deliver truly exceptional and unique guest experiences.
Your day to day
We currently have fixed term 4 - 6 week opportunities in guest facing operations within the Resort and are accepting applications to work within one or more the following areas:
Public Area Attendant
Restaurant and Bar Attendants
Food & Beverage Attendants – Restaurants, In-Room Dining & Banquets
Chef de Parties
Guest Service Agents
Sports & Leisure Attendants
From maintaining the cleanliness of our public areas, to keeping the pool towels flowing and crockery cleared around the pool, within our unique resort environment, you will potentially have the rare opportunity to break the mould of only having one focus and gain exposure across multiple disciplines and roles, grow your skills and work across many aspects of the business.
What we need from you
If you’re an engaged and experienced hotelier currently working your way around the world, or have recently started working in hospitality in a hotel, motel, café, restaurant or working in a commercial cleaning environment and want to gain experience to grow career or just earn some extra money, we want to hear from you.
You will have the ability to relocate and live on Hayman Island, Whitsundays over mid-December 2020 through January 2021, hold the appropriate rights to work within Australia and also be flexible to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required to support the operation. Our F&B colleagues will need to hold a Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
