Crowne Plaza Geelong is seeking a passionate and hands-on Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join our growing team, overseeing the daily operation of Sociali Trattoria & Bar and Verde on Smythe.

About the Role
As our Food & Beverage Duty Manager, you will play a key role in leading service delivery across:
Sociali Trattoria & Bar, serving buffet breakfast and à la carte lunch and dinner, seven days per week
Verde on Smythe, our vibrant café operating seven days per week
This position is predominantly focused on breakfast and lunch operations, working Wednesday to Sunday, with the flexibility to support other shifts and food and beverage outlets as required within the management team roster.
You will be responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences, driving team engagement, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across both venues.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading and motivating Food & Beverage teams during service
Ensuring exceptional guest service standards are delivered consistently
Managing daily operations, staffing and service flow
Coaching, training and developing team members
Maintaining service standards, procedures and brand compliance
Assisting with rostering, stock control and operational planning
Working collaboratively with the broader hotel leadership team
Supporting the achievement of departmental service and financial goals
About You
You are a positive, energetic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads by example. You'll bring:
Previous supervisory or management experience within hospitality in a similar premium environment
Strong leadership and team development skills
A genuine passion for guest service excellence
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to remain calm and effective during busy service periods
Flexibility to work across varying shifts when required
A collaborative, team-first approach
Current Victorian RSA certification
Full working rights in Australia.
Excellent written and spoken English.
