We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Pools & Ponds Trades Assistant to join our Engineering team. This role is responsible for assisting in the maintenance, operation, and presentation of the resort's swimming pools, ornamental ponds, water features, and associated plant and equipment, ensuring they are maintained to the highest safety, environmental, and brand standards.

Base rate $31.30 + penalties + loading

To be successful in this full-time role, you’ll have:

• Previous experience in pool, water feature, grounds, facilities maintenance, or a similar trade assistant role.
• Basic understanding of pool filtration systems, water chemistry, and plant equipment.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Current unrestricted driver's licence.
• Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Experience working in a hotel, resort, commercial facility, or large-scale property.
