Duties and Responsibilities 
As Pool/Beach Service Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Food & Beverage department to provide exceptional product and service within brand operating standards. 
The duties and responsibilities will include:
•    Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices and guest expectations to continually improve the pool, bar and beverage experience.
•    Regularly review products, menus, amenities and service standards to ensure they remain relevant, innovative and aligned with Six Senses brand guidelines.
•    Maintain a strong operational presence throughout service, ensuring LQA standards and Six Senses service standards are consistently followed and exceeded.
•    Ensure the pool, bar and F&B areas are clean, properly equipped, well maintained and fully ready before opening to guests.
•    Inspect guest orders, service areas, equipment and maintenance needs regularly, ensuring required actions are completed within the designated timeframe.
•    Deliver an exceptional guest experience by greeting guests courteously, using guest names whenever possible, handling welcome and check-in procedures efficiently and ensuring prompt, attentive service.
•    Handle guest feedback, inquiries, complaints and service recovery effectively; log comments, take appropriate action, follow up and escalate matters to the F&B Director when needed.
•    Review daily arrivals and departures, ensuring proper handling of Special Guests, VIP Guests and Groups.
•    Maintain and update guest history profiles, preferences, allergies, dietary requirements and recognition details, ensuring information is shared and implemented whenever possible.
•    Maintain full knowledge of outlet menus, specials, wine lists, F&B activities and property facilities, and guide order taking, upselling and recommendations as required.
•    Lead, schedule, train, coach and provide feedback to F&B hosts and supervisors, ensuring an engaged team that delivers Six Senses standards of service.
•    Ensure clear communication within the department and with other departments to support smooth daily operations, including regular meetings, briefings and updates on policies, procedures, events, improvement plans and guest comments.
•    Comply with and enforce the Management System requirements for quality, environment, health and safety, including recording and reporting required data, communicating deviations or incidents and participating in related training and awareness activities.
•    Maintain high standards of safety, security, emergency readiness, personal appearance, grooming and hygiene for myself and all hosts, in line with brand and statutory requirements.
•    Control inventory, stationery, stock levels, storage and monthly pool bar inventory, ensuring items are available, properly stored, reordered on time and aligned with hygiene and control standards.
•    Assist in managing the outlet operational budget, monitoring costs, payroll productivity, scheduling and profitability while preserving required standards.
•    Maintain efficient administration by preparing, submitting and completing operational, corporate, legal and confidential reports accurately and on time.
•    Maintain vendor relationships. 
•    Ensure all activities are carried out ethically, honestly and within the parameters of local law.
•    Remain flexible, self-motivated and calm under pressure, handling multiple demands, resolving issues quickly and performing any additional duties assigned by the leadership team or manager.
Qualifications
To execute the position of Pool/Beach Service Manager, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
•    High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1-3 years restaurant management experience in a full-service outlet or similar setting.  Hospitality Management Degree or some college preferred. 
•    Fluent in English 
•    Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency.
