Purchasing Manager - Six Senses Con Dao (Based in HCM)

Responsibilities

• Compliance with Six Senses and IHG systems, purchasing policy service, safety, and hygiene standards including HACCP, ISO, and VIETGAP.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication across all departments heads to define product needs and sourcing strategies.
• Obtain competitive quotes for major purchases and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and local sourcing.
• Manage purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and maintain up-to-date supplier records. Coordinate logistics from mainland cities for timely delivery of goods.
• Oversee customs, import duties, and government inspections for applicable goods.
• Conduct market visits, monitor trends, and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
• Provide feedback and support to improve procurement processes and cost controls.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three years or more of years in a purchasing department in a managerial role.
• Mastering purchasing & inventory systems/software.
• Product knowledge & Alternatives.
• Knowledge of regional/ province markets & traders.
• Teamwork techniques and Can-do attitude.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication.
