We’re always looking for new ways to raise the bar. So, we’re looking for an experienced Sales Manager - Leisure (CIS Markets) who knows the CIS leisure segment, understands its key travel partners, and has a strong track record of developing accounts and converting opportunities into business.
- Developing and managing leisure business from key CIS source markets, with a strong focus on growing room revenue and market share.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with tour operators, travel agencies, DMCs, wholesalers, and other leisure partners.
Managing an assigned portfolio of accounts while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Conducting regular sales calls, client meetings, presentations, site inspections, and familiarisation trips.
Working closely with the Director of Sales to implement leisure sales strategies aligned with the resort’s commercial objectives.
Negotiating contracts, tactical offers, seasonal promotions, and leisure packages in line with the resort’s pricing and revenue strategy.
Monitoring production from key accounts and taking proactive action to grow underperforming or high-potential accounts.
Keeping a close eye on market trends, competitor activity, destination demand, pricing, and changing travel patterns across CIS markets.
Representing the resort at trade shows, sales missions, roadshows, networking events, and other relevant industry activities.
Maintaining an accurate and active sales pipeline, ensuring leads and opportunities are followed through and converted effectively.
Preparing regular sales reports, account updates, forecasts, and market intelligence to support commercial decision-making.
Working closely with Revenue, Reservations, Marketing, and Operations to ensure offers are commercially sound and guest expectations are delivered.
Showcasing the resort’s rooms, villas, residences, dining, spa, leisure facilities, and overall destination experience to potential partners and clients.
Ensuring all sales activities reflect the standards, values, and luxury positioning of the InterContinental brand.
Minimum 1-2 years of proactive sales experience within a hotel or resort environment, with direct exposure to CIS source markets.
Strong knowledge of CIS travel segments, tour operators, travel agencies, and distribution partners.
Previous experience within a medium to large leisure-focused hotel, luxury resort, or similar international brand is preferred.
UAE hotel sales experience is essential.
A proven ability to develop accounts, generate new business, negotiate effectively, and achieve sales targets.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of leisure contracting, market trends, and competitor activity.
Excellent relationship-building, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Excellent spoken and written English and Russian languages.
Knowledge of Opera is highly advantageous.
Ability and willingness to travel for sales missions, trade events, client meetings, and market visits as required.
Flexibility to work in a hybrid capacity between Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah.
