Security Shift Leader (Female Applicants Required) Six Senses The Palm Dubai

My duties and responsibilities will include:
•    Assist in controlling, coordinating and participating in the activities of all personnel engaged in securing all resort properties, guests as well as hosts and to follow the instructions of the Security Manager. 
•    Conduct security patrol within the resort. 
•    Coordinate activities of all uniformed outsourced guards engaged in the implementation of management, safety and security procedures of the resort. 
•    Represent Security Manager while on shift in handling emergency cases at the resort in accordance with resort policy. 
•  Recommend to Security Manager areas of improvements in safety and security activities.
•    Review all security reports submitted at the end of shift to see if accurate and complete. 
•    Inform the Security Manager of any incidents that have occurred in the resort.  
•    Conduct preliminary investigation of any incidents. All investigations are to be kept confidential and submitted to the Security Manager. 
•    Enforce all lost control manual and resort policies and procedures. 
•    Inspect each security post periodically ensuring full coverage by designated hosts or uniformed outsourced guards. 
•    Record in the logbook, all unusual incidents arising in the resort for action taken.
•    Fully understand the team goals and objectives, ensuring that the maximum is done to achieve the targets.
•    Responsible for checking all fire, life safety equipment is within the expiry limits (such as handheld chemical extinguishers, etc.)
•    Conduct random bag inspections of hosts/vendors/suppliers entering and leaving the resort. Ensure asset removal policy is adhered to, to prevent resort assets being removed from the resort without the proper authority.
•    Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene.
•    Knowledge of all safety, security and emergency procedures related to my position in line with brand and statutory requirements.
•    Ensure the privacy of guests, partners and residential owners, I will apply an extra level of protection to any sensitive personal data and use confidential information only to perform my job.
•    Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
•    Upsell all resort facilities and activities.
•    Attend meetings and training as required.
•    Knowledge and strict adherence to LQA standards.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Security Shift Leader, I have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results. I possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within security operations is required.

I have strong administrative skills, including maintaining records and documentation. I am proficient in preparing, updating, and maintaining security reports and incident reports.  I have excellent communication in the English Language and team leadership skills. I am able to handle security incidents professionally and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. I will be flexible to work shifts and maintain high standards of safety and security.
