We are seeking energetic and versatile hospitality all-rounders who thrive on variety and enjoy creating memorable guest experiences across multiple food and beverage outlets. From serving barista-made coffee and welcoming guests at Verde on Smythe Café, to delivering exceptional breakfast service for our hotel guests, providing warm and engaging hospitality in Sociali Trattoria, or mixing cocktails in our Skyline Bar with stunning waterfront views, no two days are the same. You'll play a vital role in bringing our venues to life while working as part of a passionate team committed to exceptional service.
A Taste of Your Day-to-Day
Welcome guests warmly and deliver memorable dining experiences through attentive, thoughtful service through Crowne Plaza Geelong’s outlets.
Provide exceptional service across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bar operations.
Be a team player.
Demonstrate solid knowledge of our food and beverage offerings and a willingness to learn through training.
Take orders, serve food and beverages, and respond to guest requests professionally and efficiently.
Greet, seat, and serve guests efficiently and professionally.
Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organised service areas and equipment.
Set up, maintain, and pack down service areas to ensure a clean, safe, and organised environment.
Support conference, banquet, and special event operations as required.
Follow food safety, RSA, and workplace health and safety requirements.
Bring Crowne Plaza's "Dare to Connect" service philosophy to life through every guest interaction.
What We Need from You
Previous experience in Food & Beverage service within a hotel, restaurant, café, bar, or hospitality venue.
Experience as a Barista, Bar Attendant, or Bartender will be highly regarded, along with a flexible, all-round approach to work and a willingness to support different outlets and service periods as business needs require.
Availability to work weekends and public holidays, with flexibility to work a variety of shifts including mornings and evenings
A genuine passion for hospitality, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences while continuously learning and growing within the industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, approachable, and engaging personality.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Physical ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and perform moderate lifting when required.
A current Victorian RSA certificate.
Full Australian working rights.
