We are currently recruiting for a full time Banquet Waiter to join our enthusiastic team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina.

As a Banquet Waiter, you must present a positive impression, friendliness, excellent service and high standards. You will be responsible for providing professional food and beverage service during banquets, meetings, conferences, weddings, private functions and other hotel events. You will assist with event setup, serve Guests efficiently, attend to their requirements throughout the function and ensure that every event is delivered according to the hotel's high service standards. Your role will include key responsibilities such as:

• Greet Guests warmly with a genuine smile and provide courteous and professional service throughout the event.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, including tables, chairs, linen, glassware, cutlery and other required equipment according to the event specifications.
• Serve food and beverages to Guests professionally and efficiently in accordance with hotel service standards.
• Familiarize yourself with banquet event orders, menus, function timings and special Guest requirements before the start of each event.
• Ensure tables and service areas are clean, organized and properly prepared before Guests arrive.
• Provide water, beverages, bread, condiments and other service items as required during the function.
• Clear used plates, glasses and cutlery promptly and maintain cleanliness throughout the event.
• Must be able to carry natural conversation with Guests without sounding scripted or intrusive and attend to special Guest needs and requests.
• Observant to Guests' needs throughout the banquet or event experience to ensure they receive high quality service and prompt attention.
• Coordinate closely with the Banquet Supervisor, kitchen team and other service colleagues to ensure smooth and timely food and beverage service.
• Follow all sanitation, hygiene, food safety and alcohol control policies and procedures.
• Handle banquet equipment, glassware, crockery and service items carefully to minimize damage and breakage.
• Assist with replenishing buffet stations, beverage stations and service areas whenever required.
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude and high standard of personal grooming at all times.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a four or five-star hotel or comparable industry, ability to demonstrate working with and engaging teams from different cultures, strong verbal and written communication skills along with being quality oriented with focus on details, high performance standards, able to multi-task & meet deadlines and technical proficiency in related software preferable.
