Your Day to Day

As a Recreation Animator, you will lead engaging recreational and entertainment activities for resort guests, creating memorable experiences for adults and families. You will conduct activities, promote guest participation, and ensure all programs are delivered safely, professionally, and in line with hotel and brand standards.

Some of your main role responsibilities are:

• Plan and conduct daily recreational and entertainment activities for resort guests.

• Conduct guest activities such as Aqua Aerobics, Aqua Zumba, Aqua Gym, pool games, and other fun team-building activities.

• Organize and participate in various indoor and outdoor recreational activities for adults and families.

• Assist with and conduct evening entertainment activities such as karaoke nights, games, and other guest activities.

• Maintain regular and friendly interaction with guests and ensure a high level of guest engagement and satisfaction.

• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with guests of different nationalities and age groups.

• Ability to manage the recreation/activity area and ensure activities are conducted safely and professionally.

• Assist in supervising and coordinating the recreation team during daily operations.

• Ensure all activities and equipment are properly prepared, maintained, and used safely.

• Be energetic, enthusiastic, creative, and confident in engaging guests and leading activities.

• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for: 

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a hotel/resort animation or recreation environment, preferably within a five-star resort.

• Previous experience in guest relations, recreation, entertainment, or resort activities will be an advantage.

• Strong ability to engage and entertain guests of different nationalities and age groups.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills.

• Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
