Food & Beverage Outlet Manager

ensure our guests enjoy a truly memorable experience – whether they’ve worked up an appetite for a full
conference banquet or are just joining us for their favourite hot beverage.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Oversee restaurants’ daily preparations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
Managing, coaching, and developing a team of committed hospitality professionals.
Delivering exceptional guest and corporate experiences by setting high standards and finding new ways to exceed them.
Effectively coordinate daily restaurant management operations for greater productivity and higher levels of guest satisfaction.
Monitor dining/restaurant seating changes as necessary and address any guest concerns accordingly.
Managing food and beverage standards to deliver against our commitment to responsible business practices.
Ensures guest satisfaction with all aspects of the various restaurant outlets and dining experience.
Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.
Handles guests’ complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
Monitor and control labor, beverage and operating costs to achieve departmental budget targets.
Analyse outlet performance, guest feedback, and financial results to identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational improvement.
Support the development and execution of promotions, special events and upselling initiatives to maximise revenue.
Manage inventory levels, ordering processes and stock controls to minimise waste and prevent shortages.
Ensure outlet profitability through effective cost management and strong commercial decision-making.
Recruit, train, mentor and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service standards.
Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions and succession planning activities.
Lead daily briefings and departmental meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment.
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that encourages engagement, accountability and teamwork.
What we need from you
Must have working right for Fiji
Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field, preferred.
4+ years’ related experience, including management/supervisory experience.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple restaurant & bar outlets.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests & colleagues.
Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and generate revenue for the hotel.
Knowledge of health & safety standards and regulations and familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
