Because, for this vital role, were looking for someone who: - has Sense of hospitality - has prior work experience in hotel operational departments - has proven track record successful administration - has the ability to handle guest complaints with a smile - has great interpersonal skills.

 

Your day to day 

Receive and welcome all guests to the Restaurant. 

Allocate tables to walk-in guests, or as per their advance booking requirements, and escort them to their tables and ensure that their seating arrangements are satisfactory. 

Attend to initial guest requirements before handing over to station Waiter/ Captain. 

Answer telephones and handle enquiries and bookings, giving a prompt and professional service. 

Acquire an in-depth knowledge of the Menu, Wine List and any special Promotions so as to recommend to the guest appropriately, so as to maximize sales. 

Oversee the activities of the waiting staff and assist where necessary. 

Maintain and periodically change Menu and Menu Inserts as directed. 

Communicate any special requirements regarding table bookings to Supervisors/ Restaurant Manager. 

Be familiar with guests’ names, their preferences concerning food, beverage, service and tables and tend to the guests accordingly. 

Make special arrangements by referring to Guest History Record. 

Attend to all departing guests ensuring a courteous farewell

Prepare daily reservation reports and communicate expected guest volumes to the restaurant management team.

Support the team in achieving guest satisfaction and service quality standards

Ensure the reception and waiting areas are clean, organized, and presentable at all times

 

What we need from you

Minimum 1 years' experience in a hotel front office department preferably

Fresh graduates are welcomed. 

Excellent customer relations, problem solving and time management skills

University graduate

Excellent communication skills

Skilled in customer service.

Highly presentable appearance

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

Administration skills (Microsoft Office)

 

Excellent command of English language
