Job number: 167628

At voco Grand Central Hotel and Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel, we’re looking for a Part-Time Cluster Human Resources Administrator to join our People Team.

This is a varied role supporting two busy hotels, helping to keep our people processes organised, accurate and running smoothly. You’ll support everything from new starters and HR records to training, compliance, recruitment and team engagement.

Working 24 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday, we’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and great with detail. Previous experience in a busy, high-volume administration role is essential, ideally within hospitality or another fast-paced environment. Previous HR experience would be an advantage but isn’t essential.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintaining accurate team member records, personnel files and HR documentation.
  • Supporting new starters, onboarding and leavers, including contracts, right-to-work and immigration documentation, pre-employment checks and inductions.
  • Keeping IHG University, mandatory training, probation and HR trackers accurate and up to date, following up outstanding actions and preparing relevant letters.
  • Supporting the People Team inbox, responding to straightforward queries and preparing standard HR correspondence.
  • Taking accurate meeting notes when required and supporting HR, compliance and file audits.
  • Supporting recruitment, including interview coordination, candidate administration and onboarding.
  • Getting involved in team engagement, recognition, surveys, communications and wellbeing activities.
  • Providing general administrative support and helping with People Team projects and priorities as required.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll have previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume administration role and be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.

You’ll be organised, dependable and proactive, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You’ll also be comfortable learning new systems, maintaining trackers and handling confidential information appropriately.

Hospitality experience is highly desirable, and previous HR or People administration experience would be an advantage. Most importantly, you’ll have a positive, helpful approach, be confident communicating with managers and team members and take ownership of seeing tasks through.

What Great Looks Like

You keep things organised, stay ahead of deadlines and spot what might otherwise be missed. Your records are accurate, your follow-up is reliable and you understand that great HR administration isn’t just about paperwork, it helps create a great team member experience and keeps our hotels organised and compliant.

What You'll Receive

  • Up to £14.55ph, depending on experience.
  • 28 days annual leave (pro rata), including bank holidays, increasing with service to a maximum of 33 days.
  • One paid volunteering day each year.
  • Free meals whilst on duty.
  • Company sick pay and life assurance.
  • Wagestream financial wellbeing benefits.
  • £5 per day city centre parking at NCP Oswald Street.
  • 50% discount in Champagne Central at voco Grand Central and iasg Restaurant at Kimpton Blythswood Square.
  • 30% discount at Blythswood Spa.
  • Fantastic employee discounts across IHG hotels, restaurants and experiences worldwide.
  • Access to discounts at over 15,000 retailers.
  • A generous Refer a Friend scheme.
  • Ongoing learning, development and future CIPD apprenticeship opportunities.

If you enjoy being busy, take pride in getting the detail right and want to build your career within a People Team where you can make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
