InterContinental Wellington is a global five-star hotel in the heart of Wellington.  It is the seamless and personal service that makes InterContinental Wellington one of the best luxury hotels in Wellington.  We are looking for a Valet Porter who would join our energetic Concierge team to help provide that high quality experience 

Your Day-to-Day
We are seeking a Valet Porter to join our dynamic team and contribute to providing an exceptional guest experience. 

Your responsibilities:

• Greeting and assisting guests during arrival and departure
• Maintaining knowledge of hotel amenities and services to guide guests
• Managing luggage and packages for smooth check-ins and check-outs
• Offering recommendations and handling bookings for local attractions, dining, and transportation

• Assisting guests with valet car parking and safely managing guests' vehicles. 

   

What we need from you

• A current, full or restricted New Zealand driving license required
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities to handle guest requests efficiently
• Demonstrated knowledge of the local area and attractions
• Fit and able to lift heavy suitcases.

• Flexibility to work a range of hours – including weekends & public holidays
