This role supports the Company’s dispute resolution strategy across a wide range of business-related disputes, including pre-litigation matters, day-to-day support on significant disputes, and the independent handling of litigation and arbitration matters.

Your day to day
• Assist in handling various disputes relating to the Company, including litigation and arbitration cases, with a focus on hotel management agreement disputes;
• Assist in handling consumer-related complaints, disputes and administrative cases involving regulatory authorities (e.g. Market Supervision Administration), and support interactions with regulators where required
• Conduct legal research and identify relevant judicial decisions, statutes, legal articles, codes and other pertinent materials;
• Coordinate with operation and other internal teams on evidence collection, case strategy and remedial measures;
• Prepare, review and manage legal documents, and support attendance at court hearings and arbitration proceedings;
• Monitor case progress and track key dates;
• Instruct and manage external counsel, including fee review and performance monitoring;
• Process billing and invoicing of external counsel;

What we need from you
• Strong capability in handling litigation and arbitration cases, including case strategy, evidence review and procedural management;
• Good time and priority management and organizational skills. Able to work under tight time pressures;
• Good stakeholder management skills with experience of working with management and decision makers;
• Good team collaboration;
• Strong document drafting skills (attention to detail, analytical, solution focused);
• Adapts procedures, processes and techniques to accomplish strategic priorities whilst managing risk exposure.
• Bachelor of Laws;
• Admission to Law society in the PRC;
• PRC Licensed lawyer.
• Has a minimum of 3 years working experience as a licensed lawyer in law firm;
• Experience in handling litigation and arbitration matters;
• Experience in handling consumer protection related matters, including dealing with regulatory authorities (e.g. Market Supervision Administration) is preferred;
